Trainers Academy, LLC President
Earns a Diploma of Dog Training and Behavior Counseling from
Companion Animal Sciences
Institute
We are proud to announce that
Trainers Academy, LLC president, Lisa (Laney) Patrona, CPDT-KA, has earned
a Diploma of Dog Training and Behavior Counseling, graduating
with Distinction from
Companion Animal Sciences
Institute. Lisa becomes one of only
two Michigan-based graduates of this rigorous program, and only
one of a handful worldwide.
Companion Animal Sciences
Institute is an accredited
distance education school providing advanced, in-depth and
challenging certificate courses and diploma programs of study in
professional dog training, behavior consulting, fitness and
nutritional sciences at the undergraduate college level of
difficulty.
“Lisa completed her
studies passing with Distinction, the highest level of recognition
we offer for exceptionally excellent work,” said James O’Heare,
CABC, president of
Companion Animal Sciences
Institute. “Lisa’s work
demonstrates that she is highly knowledgeable in all areas of
dog behavior, training and behavior consulting.”
Because she has earned this
high level of distinction among dog trainers and counselors she
has been asked to serve as an Advisory Member of the International
Institute for Applied Companion Animal Behavior (IIACAB).
As the president of Trainers
Academy, LLC, Lisa strives to raise the bar among dog professionals
everywhere. In an age where anyone can call themselves a dog trainer
and charge money for advice, Lisa hopes to offer more through
continuous studies, and by setting high standards of education
for her staff.
All of us at Trainers Academy,
